Our place is a welcoming space designed for children and parents to connect, learn, and grow together. We offer a variety of engaging activities that support physical, social, and developmental milestones for kids of all ages. With a friendly environment and caring staff, we’re here to make each visit enjoyable and meaningful for the whole family!

Our Policies and Procedures
- All children must be registered for a session prior to their entrance into the gym. You can register by calling us at 718-514-0033.
- A Safety Waiver must be completed and singed by the child’s parent/legal guardian before a child is allowed to enter the GYM.
- No shoes in the GYM.
- Please be considerate of others in the waiting room. We are sharing the waiting room with another office.
- Please do not leave your child unattended while waiting for your class/session or before you leave the waiting room.
- Please arrive 10 minutes before the beginning of the class.
- Please use the restroom prior to class.
- Restrooms are on the 3rd floor. Please escort your child to and from the restroom.
- Gum, food and drinks other than water are not permitted in the GYM.
- Please make use of the coat hooks and the shoe shelves in the waiting room. Please do not leave your child’s clothes on the shoe shelves or the couch.
- Get Ready Kids Occupational Therapy, P.C. is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
- During OPEN PLAY and Mommy & Me classes, parents/legal guardians/accompanying adult are responsible for safety and wellbeing of their children.
- ONLY ONE ADULT PER per child may participate in the class.
- If you stepped out of the building during the class, please make sure to arrive on time to pick up your child.
- Parents, of children receiving services via Related Services Authorization (RSA) and or Health insurance, please wait in the waiting room.
- Do not disturb class. Please let your child’s instructor/therapist take care of any behavior during class requiring redirection or correction.
- Children who are unwell or exhibit symptoms such as frequent sneezing, coughing, nausea, or vomiting will not be permitted to attend class.
- The Get Ready Kids Occupational Therapy, P.C. is a play gym designed for children ages 1-13 years old.
- If you have a problem or concern with anything happening in your class, please tell us.
- The jungle gym structures are for children ages 5-13 years old.
- We reserve the right to refuse entry to any child who is not within the above age groups
- All children and adults MUST wear socks in the play gym area. Grip socks can be purchased for price of $3.00 a pair
- Please do not take ANY toys into the jungle gym structure.
- Please be respectful of our play equipment, toys and other children at all times.
- Bullying, pushing, hitting or other physical harm to anyone will not be tolerated at any time. We reserve the right to remove any guests exhibiting such behavior from our facility without a refund.
- Please do not leave your personal belongings unattended. The Get Ready Kids Occupational Therapy, P.C. is not responsible for loss or theft of personal property.
- We do our best to keep the calendar and newsletter as up to date as possible. However, our schedule of play hours may be changed or canceled without notice.
Each and every client is important
This place is amazing! The staff is so welcoming, and my little one loves all the activities. It’s great to see her learning and having fun with other kids, and I’ve even made a few parent friends along the way. Highly recommend for anyone looking to bond and grow with their child!
We’ve tried a few Mommy & Me programs, but this one stands out! The classes are well-organized, with lots of engaging activities that really support development. The environment is friendly and safe, and I always leave feeling more connected with my child. Such a wonderful experience!
A fantastic place for both kids and parents! There’s so much for my toddler to explore, from sensory play to group activities. The staff truly cares about each family, and I appreciate the focus on social skills and motor development. Couldn’t be happier with our choice to come here!
